Writer. Strategist. Organizer of chaos.

Hi, I’m Rachel — or Stevie, if we’re on a nickname basis. I was born in Houston, raised in Florida, and have a soft spot for theatre kids, harmonies, and reality competition shows (Name That Tune producers: I’m available).

Professionally, I work at the intersection of content, strategy, and project management. I’ve led website rebuilds, written launch emails for wellness brands, ghostwritten help docs, and coached junior writers into their next roles. My background spans SaaS, e-commerce, beauty, education, wellness, and more — plus, I’m equally comfortable in a Google Doc or a Gantt chart.

I like solving problems that actually matter, making the complex more human, and collaborating with teams that care about doing the work well. The rest of the page goes deeper into where I’ve worked, what I’ve done, and how I might be helpful to you.

Industries

I’ve worked across sectors ranging from SaaS to skincare, each with its own jargon, expectations, and quirks. Whether I’m writing for pet parents or CFOs, I adapt quickly and focus on what actually matters to the people reading.

[Rachel] has a great talent for copywriting, and was able to seamlessly capture each of the unique voices of the multiple brands she worked on. On top of her writing workload, she was also responsible for editing multiple longform pieces each week. She has a real handle on how to refine, condense and improve any piece of writing that's put in front of her. She also did quite a bit of the project management for our team, and stepped up to act as our leader when we needed it. I'm thankful for the opportunity to have worked with such a talented, organized and driven person. If I needed someone to write great content for my brand, Rachel would be at the top of my list.
